Yes, nude photographs created for genuine artistic purposes are welcome on the Society of Art. As a platform dedicated to life drawing and professional artistic practice, we recognise nudity as an essential and respected part of life modelling and visual arts. Nude images are acceptable when they are presented thoughtfully, respectfully, and clearly within an artistic or educational context, rather than for sensational or sexualised purposes.

All nude content must comply with our Image Upload Standards and relevance to your profile type. Images that are explicit, gratuitous, or do not demonstrate clear artistic intent may be removed.

All images uploaded to the Society of Art must comply with our Image Upload Guidelines. Before uploading, members should ensure their content is appropriate for the platform and that the correct image safety and visibility settings have been selected.

Please note that image guidelines vary across different websites, publications, and platforms. What may be acceptable elsewhere may not be suitable for the Society of Art. To maintain a professional, respectful, and inclusive environment for the life drawing community, all members are required to follow the Society of Art’s image upload standards when sharing their work.

When uploading images to the Society of Art, you must either be the creator of the work or have clear permission from the copyright holder to share it.

Your portfolio should be curated with care and common sense. It is a professional space designed to showcase your skills, style, and approach within the life drawing community, helping others understand how you work and whether they may wish to collaborate with you. Portfolios are not intended for unrelated or random images, but for work that genuinely represents your artistic practice and role within the Society of Art.

The Photo Portfolio feature allows members of the Society of Art to showcase their work clearly, professionally, and in a way that reflects their role within the life drawing community. Each portfolio should focus on content relevant to the member’s profile type, whether as a life model, artist, or art event organiser. This ensures that anyone viewing a portfolio can immediately understand a member’s experience, style, and expertise without having to sift through unrelated content. Keeping portfolios focused also enhances visibility when members are discovered through searches and recommendations.

For work that falls outside a member’s current profile focus, there are flexible options. Members can create Albums aligned with different creative roles, allowing them to share this work appropriately while still connecting with relevant opportunities. This approach keeps portfolios accurate while enabling members to represent the full range of their creative practice within the Society of Art.

By providing a clear and professional platform for sharing work, the Photo Portfolio system promotes transparency, professionalism, and meaningful connections. Members can present their work with confidence, celebrate their creativity, and be discovered for the skills they most want to highlight.
